Internships
WBA welcomes applications from individuals passionate about the bioenergy and renewable energy sector. Our work spans a wide range of technologies, policies, and markets. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply directly via email with their supporting documents.
Responsibilities of an Intern at WBA
- Gathering, analyzing, and presenting the latest data on bioenergy.
- Drafting, reviewing, and publishing factsheets and reports.
- Assisting in organizing WBA events, such as conferences, site visits, and webinars.
- Supporting communication and outreach activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (completed/ongoing) or higher in engineering, science, or a relevant field.
- Project or work experience in fields such as bioenergy, renewable energy, or climate change.
- Proficiency in editing and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of design software (e.g., InDesign, Canva) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Internship Details
- Interns are provided with basic office supplies. It is recommended to have a personal laptop for work.
- Work-related expenses, such as local travel or accommodation for events, will be covered.
- The internship is based at the WBA Secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden. Virtual internships are also available in response to the pandemic situation.
