Throughout this transformative year, amidst geopolitical tensions and climate impacts, the bioenergy sector experienced a surge in momentum. Your contribution and active interest in our endeavors have been instrumental in amplifying the crucial role of bioenergy technologies in addressing climate targets and sustainable energy solutions towards 2030 and beyond.
Throughout 2023, our highlights included the publication of reports like our Global Bioenergy Statistics 2023. We organized insightful webinars, drawing over 2 500 registrations collectively. Our global presence was felt as we supported events such as the GBEP Bioenergy Week in Bangkok and hosted our General Assembly in Beijing. Engaging actively in key international forums like COP28 allowed us to forge connections with organizations and key stakeholders in the sector.
Our collaborative partnerships with key international organizations (GBEP, REN21, IRENA, etc.) continued and key highlight was the launch of Propellets.Africa website. Our continuous advocacy efforts across diverse platforms reflect our commitment to championing sustainable bioenergy solutions.
