Biomass processing technology has advanced rapidly over the past few years. The increased demand for efficient biomass for energy due to various policies in EU and around the world, has led to major developments in densification technologies. Nowadays, depending on local circumstances, biomass can be processed into a variety of processed feedstock – pellets, briquettes, bales etc.
In this regard, the World Bioenergy Association and Bioenergy International magazine organised a webinar ‘Latest technology developments in biomass feedstock processing’. Leading global technology companies shared the latest developments in densification of biomass with active case studies from around the world.
