Biomass North Forum 2018

The 3rd annual Biomass North Forum is taking place from October 16-18, 2018 on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  With this year’s theme of Mapping Canada’s Bioeconomy: Drivers, Roadblocks and Bridges, #BNDC2018 will serve as a cross-country checkup to showcase how government, industry, academia and communities throughout the country are navigating towards a sustainable bioeconomy future.

Join the Biomass North Development Centre (BNDC) in discovering how growth in the sector will help Canada transition to a low-carbon economy, and why a competitive national bioeconomy is critical to the success of the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change.

ABOUT BNDC:

The Biomass North Development Centre supports the development of a robust Canadian bioeconomy. As a member-based sector association, Biomass North builds strategic alliances between all participants of the value chain - from small municipalities to large industry and all points in between. By performing cutting edge market and technical research, through knowledge transfer and implementing best practices, and by driving innovation in new products and business models, Biomass North aspires to make and Canada a global leader in the emerging bioeconomy.
