Terms and Conditions

Membership

1. There are 3 categories of membership open for all global bioenergy stakeholders
   • Full Members: Open for all bioenergy related associations
   • Associated Members: Open for all bioenergy related companies, institutions etc.
   • Individual Members: Open for all individuals
2. The categories and fees are set by the board: Link
3. The application is submitted to WBA Secretariat which is then submitted to the WBA Board for confirmation. Provisional admission is provided if the payment is made in full before confirmation by the Board under which circumstances, the members will receive all the membership benefits
4. The membership can be paid in two ways:
   • Online via credit/debit card after filling in the application (Link)
   • Requesting invoice from Secretariat by sending a scanned copy of the application form (Link). Invoice is usually sent to full/associated members only.
5. Once the payment is confirmed, the member will receive a confirmation mail within 1 week of payment of membership. The confirmation mail will include login information to member exclusive content (Link). The login details should not be shared with anyone.
6. The membership year is from January - December every year
7. The membership fee is recurring annually
8. In case the member wishes to terminate his membership, he/she should send a written request to the Secretariat 60 days before the start of the new membership year.
9. Already paid membership cannot be claimed back under any circumstances.

Webinars

1. One registration gives one access to the webinar as stated in the confirmation.
2. The links including documentation – videos, presentations, pdf files – are for the use of the registrant only and cannot be shared.
3. Registrants will have access to the webinar(s) only after the payment is confirmed.
4. Once the payment is confirmed as received, WBA will send the links to the webinar and receipt of payment to the email address registered within 24 - 48 hours of the payment.
5. Delegates can request an invoice for payment. However, the webinar(s) will be available for the delegate only after the payment is confirmed by WBA.
6. Only WBA members with no outstanding member dues can register for the event at member discounts. In case of discrepancy, the delegates will be contacted by the organizer for clarification.
7. Delegates will not become a WBA member automatically. Membership requests should be sent via the Membership registration form (Link).
8. WBA reserves the right to cancel the event without prior notice. Registrants will be informed about the changes.
9. In the event of cancellation, the registered fees will be paid back to the registrants within one month of cancellation.
10. WBA does not support/deny the content and theme of individual presentations. The responsibility lies with the individual speakers.
