Lantmännen currently employs more than 10 000 employees and is active in 20 countries. Lantmännen Agroetanol produces 230 000 m3 of ethanol as a main product along with 60 000 tonnes of protein as animal feed, 200 000 tonnes of carbon dioxide which is utilized in the beverage industry and biogas for fuel and fertilizer. The plant utilizes 600 000 tonnes of cereals procured in Sweden along with food residues as feedstock. The study trip included presentations from representatives of Lantmännen followed by a tour of the facility.

WBA would like to express our sincere gratitude to our members and board members for taking part in the event.
