Ms. Hélène Pelosse, newly appointed Interim Director-General of the recently established International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), is the latest high profile speaker to join the opening session. Ms. Pelosse comes from a position as Deputy Head of Staff in the Private Office of the French Minister for Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development, and Town and Country Planning in charge of international affairs. She will speak on IRENA's role to push renewables forward on a global level at the upcoming WB-CVF 2009.
